Description

This specification applies to enclosed air-break circuit-breakers with over-current protection, the main function of which is to prevent continued overloading of wiring, and which have ratings up to and including 55 amperes at low or medium voltages. Circuit breakers intended only for the protection of electrical equipment as distinct from circuit wiring, and which are appropriately marked as such, are not within the scope of this standard.
